Master of Science „Radiation Biology“
Master Radiation Biology: Radiation, Biology, Medicine & Research
The Master's degree programme in Radiation Biology provides in-depth knowledge of the biological effects of ionising radiation - from molecular mechanisms to medical applications. Both therapeutic potentials (e.g. in radio-oncology) and health risks due to diagnostic or technical radiation exposure are addressed. The programme is aimed at international students from the natural sciences, medicine, biology and related disciplines.
The programme is research-oriented and closely linked to the TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich and various TUM research areas. The programme focuses on modern molecular approaches, translational research and current social and ethical issues in dealing with radiation.
