Considering the ongoing concerns caused by COVID-19, the IASLC decided to transition all of its 2021 live conferences to worldwide virtual events, including the next World Conference on Lung Cancer 2021 so you can experience the Conference from the comfort and safety of your home or office.

The IASLC continues to monitor the situation on an ongoing basis. If public health circumstances allow, the IASLC may also offer in-person opportunities if feasible. Our primary goal is to ensure that educational and scientific content is available to all interested participants, while protecting the health and well-being of attendees and faculty.

We are working on a new virtual experience that will be both, interesting and engaging. Join us virtually from September 8 – 14, 2021. We are planning for more but shorter days full of practice-changing science.

The IASLC is committed to offering quality experiences that continue to provide opportunities for attendee engagement that have been a hallmark of the IASLC’s in-person conferences. The IASLC will continue to deliver on its fundamental mission by bringing critical education in all aspects of thoracic cancer to the widest possible audience. In addition to Plenary and Educational Sessions, the program will feature a full day of audience and regional targeted workshops.

We recognize that many of our global and multidisciplinary members and meeting attendees are healthcare workers who are on the front line of studying, diagnosing and treating lung cancer. We want to express our gratitude and admiration to you and to all health care professionals working in incredibly difficult circumstances to contain this outbreak and prevent further loss of life.

We hope to see you online or perhaps in person from September 8 – 14. Even if we are physically apart, we are still together as a community, connected by a shared passion for conquering thoracic cancers and malignancies worldwide and for the best outcomes for our patients.
